Credit cards are cards issued by banks to people for the purpose of making purchases through the card while also paying back the money used in full at the end of every month. A credit card can be co-branded. Co-branded credit cards can be issued to customers who wish to have their cards customized. Credit cards are of various types and a customer can choose the type of credit card they want. Having any of this types of credit cards have several advantages.

Below are the types of credit cards and their uses: Standard credit cards: Commonly known as the plain vanilla credit card. This is due to the fact that the credit card offers no reward for users. Standard credit card are simple to understand. The funds in the card can be used for purchases and balance up after making deposit.

Balance credit card: This type of credit card offers a relatively low introductory rate on every balance transfer for a stipulated period. This is the card for those that wish to save money on high interest rate balance. Rewards Credit Card: There are basically three types of rewards credit card namely; travel, cashback, and point. This type of credit cards offers rewards to cardholders on every credit card purchase.

Reward credit cards: Reward credit cards comes in three different kinds: there is the travel, cashback, and point reward credit card. Each of these cards have their different rewards which customers can use as they wish. Charge cards: this card comes with no spending limit thus, allowing the cardholder to spend as they wish. It terms include that all balances be paid in full at the end of the month. Failure to pay up all balances at the end of the month comes with penalty which could be card cancellation, restrictions, or a fee.

Secured and Unsecured Credit card: Secured credit cards are for people with no credit history. However, security deposit are usually placed on the card. The spending limit on the card is the same as the deposit available on the card. The unsecured credit cards on the other hand are designed for people who have a balanced credit i.e people with fair credit. It is commonly use by people.

Secured and Unsecured credit card: The secured credit cards are made for people with no prior credit history. The card comes with a security deposit. Also, the card spending limit is the same as the amount of fund deposit in it. While the unsecured credit cards are for people with reasonable credit. This type of card is preferred by most people.

Student credit cards: This type of card is available for college students who does not have any credit history. These cards are easily approved to students who are just applying for the card for the first time. Why you should have a credit card: They are comfortable to carry hands free than money It helps to adjust one's spending It offers many rewards for users They can be used in all currency.

Credit cards and co-branded credit cards are great options for everyone. Using a credit card comes with lots of offers.
