Documents drafted include legal briefs, interrogatories, pretrial orders, deposition notices, subpoenas, and complaints among others. They must also ensure that the documents they draft are delivered to the intended recipient in a timely manner.

There is also a wide range of office administration tasks that paralegals handle. These tasks include answering phone calls, maintaining reference lists, filing papers, calling clients, witnesses, court personnel, and other lawyers. They also prepare the daily schedule of the attorney they work with.
